• Among various music courses, Theory 2, Ear Training, Music History, Hymnody, Conducting 1 & 2, Choral Repertoire, Survey of Piano Literature, Piano Ensemble, Marylhurst Chorale (often accompanying), and Applied Organ. 
• Studied Organ with Margaret Witchard; performed Senior Organ Recital May 2002.
• Participant in Piano Ensemble Class with Timothy Nickel; with piano partner, gave a two-piano recital October 2003 at Marylhurst University Wiegand Hall.

BS Economics - Portland State University - 1983

• In addition to courses that were major specific, took courses on music theory, ear training, music history, and voice coaching.  Sang in University Chorus and sang/accompanied Madrigals, strings, and studied piano with Harold Gray.

• National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy, August 2007, Chicago, Illinois.  Sponsored by the Frances Clark Center for Keyboard Pedagogy, this conference features noted teachers and artists.  Participants pick from various workshops and seminars to learn new methods and enhance current methods in use.
• American Guild of Organists Regional Conference, July 2007, Portland, Oregon.  Hosted by the Portland Chapter, AGO (Member Transportation Committee).  This conference featured concerts by prominent artists of the region and seminars / workshops on various topics related to church organ employment.
• American Guild of Organists National Conference, July 2006, Chicago, Illinois.  Artists of national prominence gave concerts.  Various workshops on many topics for the church musician.
